Introducing Shelbyville Chiropractor Dr. James Stapleton

“I thought my friend was crazy,” remembers Dr. James Stapleton. “when he insisted that I try chiropractic since I was experiencing almost daily back pain after lifting heavy furniture at G.G Goettler's. Reluctantly, I agreed and went for my first visit. Little did know how much ths decision would affect my life.”

“My first adjustment was amazing,” recollects Dr. J. “I felt better than I had in years. Then and there I decided that I was going be a chiropractor myself.”

Shelbyville Chiropractor Dr. James StapletonJames completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at The University Of Western Ontario. After completing his degree, James went to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. During his four years at Logan, James' course of study included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care at several chiropractic clinics. After graduating in 2003 James moved to Shelby County KY to begin his practice.

“We love skeptics,” smiles Dr. Stapleton. “I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that.”

Dr Stapleton enjoys a wide variety of sports.  Especially hockey, which he plays every week.  He also enjoys outdoor activities such as Mountain Biking and he completed his first Mini-Marathon last year. He also has a passion for music and plays a variety of instruments.  You may see him out and about with his band Liquid Stumpblaster at a venue near you!

James sees his chiropractor regularly to ensure his nervous system is clear and stress-free. He also sees his massage therapist bi-weekly.

“My practice members love the fact that I am an excellent listener. I look forward to to meeting you in person and discussing your specific health challenge. Give our Shelbyville office a call or email me with the link below.”

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
